Conversation Dispenser
Users can use this icon if automatic assignment is configured on the account, allowing them to immediately assign the oldest available conversation to their team or directly to their user.
To assign a conversation using the Conversation Dispenser:
- Make sure the icon is green and shows the number of new conversations unassigned.
- Press the icon > “Conversation Dispenser.”
- The newly assigned interaction will automatically show up in your New Interactions panel.
In the New Conversations panel, the top right has the "Conversation Dispenser":

To enable the “Conversation Dispenser” feature:
- Go to the ‘Conversations’ menu, located at the top right of the screen, and click on the profile icon.
- Select “Account settings” from the dropdown menu.
- In the ‘Configuration’ menu on the left side of the screen, choose “Users.”
- Select the “User List” option.
- Click on the “Create” button to add a new user.
- Fill in the user’s information. In the “Roles” section, choose the “Dispenser” option.
- To assign the “Dispenser” role to an existing user, select the pencil icon next to their information.
- In the user’s editing section, choose the “Dispenser” role in the “Roles” box.
Save the changes, and the dispenser will be successfully configured for the agent user. This user will now have the necessary permissions to perform functions related to the Conversation Dispenser.
